A lifelong lover of education and a fierce champion for inclusivity in all endeavors that impact the professional growth of future business leaders, Dr. Yuvay Meyers Ferguson has a proven track record of creating innovative partnerships that engage companies with diverse populations. With a deep understanding of the nuances when partnering with higher education institutes, particularly Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), if you’d like to focus on strategies that will successfully produce measurable results and maximum impact, Dr. Ferguson has the keys to navigating this type of initiative .

Dr. Ferguson is a career academic who most recently served as the Assistant Dean of Impact and Engagement and an Associate Professor of Marketing at Howard University’s School of Business. Courses that she has taught include Marketing Communications, Consumer Behavior, Digital Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Franchise Management and Brand Management along with other business focused courses.  Dr. Ferguson graduated with honors from Howard University with a Bachelors degree in International Business Marketing and then went on to American University to obtain a Masters Degree in Strategic Communication. Before returning to graduate school, she worked in advertising with clients such as the American Red Cross and BellSouth. Dr. Ferguson completed her Ph.D. in Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests focus on representation of Blacks, Millennials and Gen Z in advertising and their consumer behavior in the marketplace.
